Just awesome!

Great job! Great audio work!

Take note of this animation. It is a great example of scene composition and layout.

Keep up the good work. Can't wait to see more.

:)

Nice effort...

... but you have a long way to go before you can teach people particle animation effectively. You're fire and smoke were pretty sophmoric. Try building up your frame by frame skills. I recommend researching other artists' renderings of water/fire animation, such as Bitey of Brackenwood.

JackSmack responds:

Yep... I have to admit it's not the best looking smoke on the planet. But it is alot better than some people can do.

and yes when I work on animations with special effects I don't make my fire like this but it does look like fire and is great for small file sizes.

I'm not saying I'm great at anything... I'm just saying this is a convinicing way to make fire.. smoke... or other effects. This tutorial is for people who wonder how they can make good effects with the least amount of drawing possible, and I think they work pretty well... but yes not perfect.

Thanks for the review.

Meh...

Nothing but pointless violence. If you don't have a story to fall back on then the only thing to scrutinize is your animation, which is alright.. Work on your anatomy, your particle animation like smoke, sparks and water. Composing scenes and camera angles seems to be your strongest ability.

Stop the Stick animations!

Seriously, enough is enough. Even if you can't draw anatomy very well, it's still your own style. EMBRACE IT!

FenixFlashFilms responds:

Stick animations are definitely 100% easier to work with. It may not be very appealing to most people. I am mostly trying to get the story accross to the people watching it, not my ub3r 1337 sk1llz in flash. You gotta admit, this series actually has a good story.

Good job

Keep up the good work. Hope the final product turns out well. Try and get some more audio and voice actors in the end.

Everything was pretty cool...

...except for the fact that it was stick animation. Your story and animation are spot on, now work on your drawing skills.

Good luck!

Such good action

Just a damn shame they were all stick figures.

Very impressive.

You have a lot of promise for mastering frame by frame animation. Good job. I'd say it needs some sound effects and some voice acting, but otherwise I thought it was a well done piece. Great effort. It shows.

AWESOME!

Dude! You need to submit this to an animation contest of some sort! This is prize winning material here! Even the fucking MUSIC is original! GREAT JOB! It takes a lot to impress me, but right now my socks have ignited in my shoes. All newgrounders take note at what a lot of creativity and devotion to your work can spawn.

Dustball responds:

Thanks!

By far....

... the best SNES sprite animation I have EVER seen. GREAT JOB! Gives VGDC a run for its money don't you think?

Dude, keep it up. Wonderful job.
