Cool idea, though I don't think I'd have time to program that. :-)

nah, it would be more fun to stick with super lightning blasts anyways.

One interesting idea I saw was maybe include a bit of science in there. When the boss is near his death bed, have him create large thunderclouds that constantly hit the hero. As long as the hero stays on the ground the lightning pulses through him and into the ground without damage. When he jumps and he can no longer ground himself, the lightning builds up and damages him.
